What a great stat ...

Marquette is now 68-19 all-time under Williams when winning the opening tip.

Not sure why this is.

Every possession counts, I guess.  Marquette is 24-24 under Buzz when they don't win the tip, so it's clearly important...

It is a great stat because it sounds impressive but is really meaningless.

I take it as if we play a team the is roughly our size we are very hard to beat.  Teams bigger then us makes it much harder.
