If Stan Heath finishes top-4 with USF, then there's no doubt he deserves it. The Irish weren't supposed to be title-challengers, but they were supposed to be good. USF, on the other hand, was picked 14th in the league and is in contention for a double-bye.

With that lot, no doubt Heath's job to date has been far more impressive.

Nova ties it at the end! Come on, Wildcats, you can get this in overtime!
As much as I do not like the guy, JTIII needs strong consideration.

Buzz, JTIII, and Brey are all in contention, but I just don't see any way a top-4 USF team doesn't do it for Stan Heath. Honestly, any of the other three could win the league, and it still wouldn't be as impressive as the Bulls finishing fourth.

Won't they have a few 6th year guys next year? I think Martin and Abromitis (sp?). They could be solid, but I think we just caught them on a bad day. They are good, but not 20 points better than us.

Abromitis is done, will not be coming back.

They are playing out of their mind, IMHO, now.  I am not impressed with ND - this year or next.

Absolutely, and they'd deserve an NCAA berth.  But let's be real, for a top 4 finish they need to go 4-1 or 5-0 down the stretch.  Given their schedule I'd think 1-4 or 0-5 is more likely.

Looks like Connaughton doesnt have that stroke tonight.

This is probably not gonna be your next signature...

Edited: he also still has that terribly unwashed face

Has ND said he doesn't want to? Because there's no reason he can't, he's eligible to return for year 6.

Have you noticed how much love Beth Mowins has given ND?  Disgusting, right?

20 points better, no.  But they ARE better...smarter players and better coached.

Now next year they might be 20 pts better.

Nothing to complain about in the game today?

Wow, Nova does not deserve to win this game.

He was the difference - tough player.
You heard it here first. Davante Gardner will be a Beast this year.

Like Bucky?  The team that kenpom says is pays the slowest tempo in all of D1 ball?

No thank you, I like watching basketball on Saturday afternoon, not sleeping on the couch with basketball on the TV.

If I thought you actually knew what you were talking about, I would be concerned.  You don't, so I am not.

She seemed pretty objective, imo, praising Nova when they got ahead by a ton and praising the Irish when they had the unbelievable comeback.

At least she didn't obsess over a coach's armpit sweat.

I think I'd cry if I were a Nova fan this year.  After being used to always being a tourney team, being "young" has to be a lame excuse when they were up 18 against us and 20 against Notre Dame in home games.

Clearly, you did not see them torch us and Villanova.

Actually, I thought Grant was the diffence.  He played poorly most of the night, but when they needed him, he was nuts on center.

No, I did.  I also saw some of the games they played really poorly.  You clearly missed those.  One thing that I clearly know you did not know is that Nova played without their best player tonight.  Clearly, that was lost on you.

They shot lights out at times in both games you mention.  Still, not fearing them.  Playing out of their mind and after the first game in the NCAA's, they will be watching on TV.

So she praised the team that was ahead?  Gee, I wonder why Doris never praised UCONN today, then.

Must be your POV, because the evidence since their Syracuse win states otherwise.

Cuse without Melo.  Tonight Nova without Wayns.  ND's toughest games at home.  I am not enthralled with ND.  Playing well right now, but I think they are far overachieving.   I would LOVE MU to play ND in the BE Tourney.  Apparently you and godzilla would be in fear, I would relish it.  Yes, it is my POV, that is why I posted it.  I guess that part must have been lost on you.
