ND gets to face Nova without Wayns.  He is everything to Nova.  Add this to getting to face Syr and us at Home.  Well thats the breaks.

Cuse without Melo, as well.

robmufan

Wayns had slowed down a bit, as of now it looks like Nova is playing alright without him.

MUMac

Unless ND is channeling their inner MU, currently down 25-12

LON

Is that Doris?

She seems way too in love with Nova...

What say you, Godzilla?

chapman

Well, Nova's got a big early lead.  It would be huge for us: gets us alone in second place, better for the RPI since we played Nova twice, would likely get those two wins back to being top 100 RPI wins, ND still has to play at Georgetown which combined with our home game against Georgetown gets us better chances of a top 3 finish.  If things play out how it seems they're going, the #4 seed has a rough BET schedule if they have to play #5 Louisville in the first game, and if they win #1 Syracuse in the semifinal.  A #2 or #3 might get to play USF or Cincinnati in the quarterfinals then Georgetown or Notre Dame in the semis which is as nice a path as any to the finals.

MUMac

I don't know who made that block for Nova, but he is now my favorite player in college BBall.  Swats the ball in the air and it doinks right off of Timmy Higgins head.  I hope he called that one!   ;D

Not as in love as his niece was with Vander.

Doris Burke did our game today ... Play-by-play for ND is Beth Mowins.

ND down by 16 at the half.  Can we get lucky and have 'Nova pull the upset?

In the old days, the comment you replied to required teal, I believe.

LON

Mowins is solid. I think she has said positive things about MU in the past.

Katz wrote an article about how well Marquette is playing without Gardner and Otule.  He also had an interview of Crowder.  He's showing Marquette way too much love to be an unbiased ESPN reporter.

Nova leading ND in 2nd half!

Glad it wasn't lost on everyone

Looks like Connaughton doesnt have that stroke tonight.
You heard it here first. Davante Gardner will be a Beast this year.

Irish are good.
Nova is bad.  I am not impressed by ND.  Not at all.

mviale

wow - came back from 20 down.  Cooley is impressive and 4 out of 5 starters back next year.

Is that what your niece told you?

If Stan Heath finishes top-4 with USF, then there's no doubt he deserves it. The Irish weren't supposed to be title-challengers, but they were supposed to be good. USF, on the other hand, was picked 14th in the league and is in contention for a double-bye.

With that lot, no doubt Heath's job to date has been far more impressive.

Nova ties it at the end! Come on, Wildcats, you can get this in overtime!

mu03eng

Being a dick aside, I'm comfortable saying MU will be better than ND next year.

Overtime! Go Nova for 2 reasons:

1-Sole possession of 2nd place in the Big East
2-Nova will jump into the RPI Top 100 so two more quality wins on our computer records
