Their dance team makes Marquette's look like the Rockettes...
I'm like a turtle, sometimes I get run over by a semi.

Agreed.. band was dope at times.. Jamil was feelin it

Some of those cheerleaders.. I'd make fun of, but I'm too afraid of them (physically huge)

They play the standards but they also played some modern songs very well.  All of the Lights, Party Rock, Sexy and I Know It, F*** You, etc all sounded great.

While waiting for Mayo to shoot free throws coming out of a timeout I saw Jamil was dancing to whatever the band was playing at the time.

Yes, they were awesome.  I especially liked it when they played the old-school Chicago songs (from when that band had a killer horn section instead of wimpy Michael Cetera ballads).

But to be fair, DePaul has a full-blown music department, including some pretty serious Masters programs.  I am sure a significant number of their band members were music students.  That being said, would it kill the MU band to learn a new song or two?  They haven't been this stale since the last days of Geisheker.

And I think I know why DePaul doesn't have any male cheerleaders. What's the point of having them if the girls are too heavy to lift?
Have some patience, FFS.

Back in the late 90's, the MU band busted this out a few times.

Their cheerleaders were better looking than ND's, I'll give them that. Some of the ND cheerleaders looked like they were in their mid 30's.

It's not easy to get a degree at ND.

I caught that too!  I heard some "Feelin Stronger Everyday".

I believe some members of the group Chicago attended DePaul.

Yep - most of them.
All this talk of rights.  So little talk of responsibilities.

icheights

Funny that this was mentioned today as the group I was with last night all commented on how awesome the DePaul band was...

Fullodds

Maybe their band will make the tourney this year?
