Dr. Blackheart

  • 1.  Turnover rate of 30.6%, Assist rate of 38.0% and Assist:Turnover ratio of 1.8
  • 2.  Turnover rate of 28.3%, Assist rate of 44.4% and Assist:Turnover ratio of 2.2
  • 3.  Turnover rate of 23.3%, Assist rate of 31.8% and Assist:Turnover ratio of 1.9
  • 4.  Turnover rate of 23.2%, Assist rate of 35.2% and Assist:Turnover ratio of 2.0

Compare these to Junior's: Turnover rate of 23.7%, Assist rate of 35.3% and Assist:Turnover ratio of 2.4. We need a big game from Junior tonight...it should be his type of wide open, back and forth game and Vandy has had weaker PG play. As I said before, his scoring is just icing on the cake, but MU is humming when he is moving the ball.

While getting the team into the offense is the most important thing for an offense, you can't just forget about scoring.  I'd like to see shooting percentages and scoring average in there.  I honestly think Junior can get 10 ppg if he is given the green light to do so.  Saw that against UWM.  Seems like a confidence thing for him, which probably comes from having Buzz's green light to shoot when he's open.

I believe it has been firmly established that PG is a weak link on this team.   ::)

If you're basing it on those numbers, you're taking the guy with the highest turnover rate and worst A:T ratio. If Junior is taking flack for what he's doing, I can't even imagine how much Siva would be getting with numbers like that.
