Let's put Mayo's nickname to a vote

Based on the earlier thread, the two front-runners are Sunny D and The Clinic. I like them both, but Sunny D is pretty damn good and after reading MarquetteDano's post about it's rhythmic use in the student section (SUN-EE-DEE, SUN-EE-DEE), I had to vote for it.

Hate to be Debbie downer but sunny d has to be the worst nickname I've heard in quite some time. The clinic is clever at least. I think I'll vote for "other" and call him Todd Mayo.

There's a big problem with Sunny D IMO........it is widely considered an ersatz OJ....an unfavorable comparison for Todd with his brother......

The Clinic is awesome.  With the way Todd plays,  we will be hearing about "The Clinic" he is displaying often.

I preferred when MU2002 got confused about the "Goldfinger" thread and thought we were talking about Mayo's nickname. The best nicknames come up by accident/make no sense at first. Otherwise its a lame Chris Berman reach. I vote goldfinger.

Cheer-ability is not what makes a nickname.  Think of Jimmy F'n Butler.  We never cheered that, but no one doubted that that was his name.  Sort of like how I'm never going to refer to Todd Mayo as such ever again.  It's always going to be The Clinic
