1.   Marquette can't play disciplined defense.
2.  Marquette can't guard the 3.
3.   Buzz doesn't play freshmen.
4.   Buzz doesn't instill character.  (sitting Junior?    Wow)
5.   Vander hasn't improved
6.   We need Vander to be a big scorer.   (8 rebounds)

BTW, Badger scout board set a new record for pulling down a game thread.

the badgers never lose at home

jordon taylor is an all american point guard (30 min, 4-10fg, 0-2 3pt, 5 turnovers, 13 pts)

Hoopaloop..."They make less mistakes on the floor, less brain cramps.  As Brewcity said, we have to hope that smart Vander shows up today.  No Wisconsin fan is worrying if smart Gasser, smart Taylor, smart Berg, etc, is showing up.  They always show up playing smart.  Smart in the sense that they all are on the same page, one cohesive unit.  Smart in the sense of totally understanding that if they play their way they will win.  When they don't play their way, that is when they lose.

This is not a case of IQ, it's a case of smart, conservative basketball that limits mental mistakes.  Their style of play limits their mistakes, their defense often forces their opponents into mistakes.  If they turn the ball over 15 times, they are screwed.  If we turn the ball over 15 times, we can often overcome it, but it is made more difficult when playing a well disciplined, smart team like Wisconsin."

7. The baby blues are bad luck

The baby blues were fantastic in person, with the sportin' baby blue shoes.  Looked awesome!

I often wonder how many BS foul calls UW draws because they are so damn unathletic and it just looks goofy so a foul is called.

Also we are undersized, we out rebounded Wisconsin 41 to 28.

I'm with you on every one except No. 2. Wisconsin had some WIDE OPEN looks that just didn't go down, especially their big men, who can hit 3s.

Some shots drop, some don't. For a while in the first half, it looked like there was a lid on the hoop with some of the wide open looks we had. I'd say in terms of missing quality looks from three, we missed more great looks than they did.
