I was at church this morning and at the handshake of peace I had to offer to Mr. Badger fan in front of me (badger gear from head to toe) the sign of peace.   I said to my wife that took a lot for me to do that without offering a snide comment since this is badger hate week, she said isn't that every week for you, guess my wife knows me.  Totally unrelated saw Steve Novak, his wife and son in the house, guess he was being thankful the NBA lockout is over.

That is enough Vadge humor to keep me smiling for the rest of time.  A national championship appearance for them delivered on a silver platter.  The Big Ten awful in football, a one time one year transfer at QB and they soiled themselves twice.  No better Vadge humor ever.

My comment is directed at a few Badger message board posters after the BYU game Saturday night.

Wisconsin senior Rob Wilson entered the game at 11:55 of the first half with Wisconsin having possession of the ball.  Wilson was on the wing and received the ball and threw a pass out to the point and it was intercepted.  The BYU player went in for a layup and Wilson fouled him resulting in a 3 point play.  Bo Ryan took Wilson out of the game immediately at the 11:44 mark or 11 seconds after he came in and he never came back into the game.

Some Wisconsin fans have never forgiven Wilson for his missed dunk against Michigan State last year, a mistake that Bo Ryan obviously didn't take well either as Wilson received only about 34 minutes of playing time the remainder of the year.  To say Wilson is on a short leash is a little understated and I think he's on more of a choke collar.  

What I find kind of hilarious is that a couple Badger posters think Wilson should be benched for the remainder of his career because of this turnover/foul.  That turnover was only Rob Wilson's second turnover in 74 minutes of playing time this year.  2 turnovers in 74 minutes!!!

I'll be interested to see if Bo Ryan has forgiven Rob to play him against North Carolina Tuesday and in other games going forward this year, including Marquette.  I feel for Rob Wilson.  If you look at the championship photo on the uwbadger.com site, Rob doesn't look like he feels part of the tourney win.
