A few notes for 2012-2013:

-FOR RESIDENTS OF EASTERN WISCONSIN - The only way to get every game is with a Time-Warner cable subscription.  DirecTV subscribers with an upper-tier subscription or the sports package that includes MASN and SNY will get every game except four OOC games (due to blackout).
-OUTSIDE WISCONSIN - The only way to get every game - without having to subscribe to ESPN Full Court - is through Verizon FIOS or DirecTV.
-MASN has picked up all of the Big East Network games during the season, but carries no OOC games.  SNY only picked up two Big East Network games, but has picked up all four OOC games produced by TW32.

(Let me know if anyone finds any errors/omissions.)

Channel Availability:

Time Warner Sports 32

Regional: (parts of WI & MI-UP)
Available on Time-Warner's standard cable package in the shaded territory below:

DIRECTV customers who live outside SNY's region must subscribe to the Premium programming lineup or the Sports Pack add-on.  U-Verse customers must subscribe to the U450 programming lineup or Sports Package add-on.

Mid-Atlantic Sports Network (MASN/MASN2)

Regional: (MD, DC, VA, DE and parts of WV, NC, PA)
Go to: http://www.masnsports.com/masn_news_information/find-masn.html for a complete provider and channel listing.

ESPN3 / WatchESPN

National:
http://www.espn3.com
http://www.watchespn.com

ESPN3 generally airs all games otherwise available on ESPN Full Court and the regional sports networks (TW32, SNY, MASN); however, beginning in 2012, ESPN3 no longer carries the simulcast of ESPN and ESPN2.  ESPN3 is available to subscribers of select internet providers:
http://espn.go.com/watchespn/affList

WatchESPN generally airs all games available on any ESPN channel (including Full Court and ESPN3); however, this service is only available to subscribers of the following cable providers: Bright House Networks, Comcast XFINITY, Verizon FIOS, Time Warner and Midcontinent Communications.

Blackout Policy:

Out of conference games that are shown on Time Warner Sports are typically subject to blackouts on all other providers (ESPN Full Court, WatchESPN, ESPN3.com, SNY, & MASN) for cable/satellite subscribers of any provider located in the Time Warner territory (black shaded area of Wisconsin & Michigan U.P. above).  See http://www.crackedsidewalks.com/2010/11/television-blackouts-in-wisconsin-for.html for more information (note that although the article is from 2010, the information is still relevant).

Conference games otherwise available on ESPNU may be subject to regional blackouts on ESPN3 or WatchESPN.

Blackout maps are available on the ESPN3.com website 5-10 days prior to the game.

Wow, I'm very concerned for Benny.  Being able to mimic Myron Medcalf's writing so closely implies an oncoming case of dementia.

So the game against Winthrop next week will not be televised at all? Lame.

I would take the Rick SLU program right now.

rocky_warrior

Thanks for that - though I'm hoping (ans suspecting) ESPN3 will pick up more of the non-con games.  Like this first one wasn't on their ESPN3 schedule a couple weeks ago.

MauraDay

Wow, thanks. That's useful even being in Indy to see what games are on FC, espn3, and national games.

mileskishnish72

Excellent work, Benny. Don't know how helpful it will be here in New England, but it's good to see someone making such good use of their time on a slow day.

That's what I suspect.  Unless there's an NBA programming slot open that a network needs to fill. But Rocky's right.... ESPN3 adds games all the time, so there's always a chance a feed might get picked up.

If nobody picks it up, perhaps we will see an MUTV feed.

Generally speaking, the rest of the country can mostly rely on the IL lineups if they have one of the listed providers.  The main difference would be if MASN, SNY, FSN and/or MSG were available on the "basic" tiers locally, you might not need a premium or sports tier to get more games.

Can we maybe sticky this for future reference?

Good stuff Benny.  This will save me a lot of time searching around.  Thanks.

Need some help here... I want to update the grid with blackout possibilities.  My cousin in Appleton has the DirecTV sports package and says both SNY and MASN were blacked out Friday night.  Can anyone else in Time-Warner's WI territory verify whether ESPN3.com and/or ESPN Full Court were blacked out on DirecTV?  Also, did any UVerse subscribers with the sports package notice SNY or MASN blacked out?

ESPN's blackout map prior to the game didn't show any blackouts in Wisconsin for the MSM game, so I'm trying to piece this together.

Live in Milwaukee with the DirecTV premier package...both SNY and MASN were blacked out.  Needless to say, I was very upset.  And it looks like I will be the whole year.  Went onto my XBOX 360 to get ESPN3 feed.  Also blacked out.

Thanks Nut.  Perhaps I was looking at the wrong ESPN blackout map.

The PDF is now updated (v2):

1) Probable blackouts are indicated for DirecTV and UVerse subscribers in Time Warner's Wisconsin territory.
2) Color-coded the main schedule to indicate national, regional, and local broadcasts.

Accepting all suggestions, corrections, questions & objections.

Comcast explained to me after I called them that SNY was blacked out Friday due to the fact that ESPN Full Court was broadcasting the game and their rights took precedence. I'm in Boston, so not sure how it affects other markets.

94Warrior

I believe the TW territory blackouts will come to an end for satellite subscribers once the Big East conference games (Big East Network) begin.
That is how it worked last year.

Also, I just discovered SNY is no longer offered in the Multi-Sports Package on Dish Network.  But, according to your guide every game on SNY is also on MASN - so no big deal.

Tulsa Warrior

For those of us outside Wisconsin on UVerse is there a channel number anyone has?
MASN or SNY?

To my knowledge, MASN is not available on UVerse.  SNY is 704.

If you buy one PJam game, do you get them all? I subscribed to Ole Miss/Drake, but it seems I don't have UVa/TCU or Marquette/Winthrop. Anyone know if I should get them all? It'd suck if I didn't...I only saw post-game of the Ole Miss game.

If you re-launch the player and click "play" for the old game, does it bring up the current stream?  It did for me.  But I *think* they may have intended 1 game only.

Updated the schedule to reflect time changes of multiple games as well as some programming additions.

Now looks like the UW Green Bay game is on E3.  Sweet!

Spreadsheet is updated to reflect modifications to blackout policy.  UW-Milwaukee (tomorrow) will/should be the last game subject to blackout for the remainder of the year.
