Here's something interesting to ponder

I usually don't really put a whole lot of stock into posts by fans giving all these flight paths and such, but this one I thought was pretty interesting and shall I say at least somewhat convincing. Any thoughts? I just can't believe the lengths some of these fans in Kentucky go to. Wow.

I've been on their board all day (rivals board), and so have a couple other MU faithful.

Dude, their fans, while passionate, are insane, I mean literally insane. The newest one is some guy's Aunt works at a private school in Lexington and said that Donovan called there to check out the school. It's beyond amusing at this point. I just checked again, and now apparently there is a "UK Security Alert" for next week, according to someone with "close sources" so they can name a new coach. I've never seen or read anything like this on any internet message board in my life, and that is saying something. They are making internet history over there with these rumors.

Just read all the hate they have for Crean, and all the lies they come up with to knock him as a coach. My favorite was the "Pitino owns Crean". I went over there and correctly pointed out that Crean is 7-5 vs Pitino head to head.

Not the brightest of apples in the bushel over there in Kentucky.

I can see some of their knocks on Crean, but 2 things I don't (or rather "they don't) get:

- Saying Marquette plays a "grind it out" offense?  They must have only watched the MSU game and though we usually only score 40 some points.  I donno where else they'd get that.

- I think (as probably most here) Crean could get AWESOME recruits at UK, that he has a much tougher time even talking to at Marquette.  Coaching aside, I think Crean could get great talent there, which would get them past the "one and done's" they're so worried about.

Nonetheless, for many reasons, I think we get to keep Crean (and I'm happy about that)
