what a useless  news article in the urinalsentinal   what were they trying to accomplish here?  that marquette now does take immediate action of oncampus miscreants, or non-atheletes anyway. ;D  or is this their ongoing disdain for non secular institutions.  i'm sure none of this kind of thing ever goes on at uwm, uw, uwgb, etc...only at mu ;D
the alleged rape however is obviously inexcusable and if proven to be accurate, the dude needs to have his head examined-both of them and then dealt with appropriately

Don't state schools have state police on campus to deal with problems like this?

Apparently, spending a lot of money for an MU tuition also means people will scrutinize you more

Will he be de-canonized for this?

I live in schroeder, the sexual assault actually happened on my floor and i heard the kid went to jail but that's all i know. One of the kids who got busted for weed is one of my friends and the two of them were in jail for 2 days but they are out now.

JoeSmith, how much weed did this dude have on him? For a dorm room to be called a drug house seems a little bit over the top. If he had an ounce or something then thats not really a lot but if he was pushing lbs then thats a whole diffrent ball game.
Bring back FFP!!!

That drug-house charge is complete BS.  Every place that ever had anyone smoke pot in it is technically a "drug house."  It's if you're knowingly or unknowingly letting people do drugs in your house.  Complete BS.

reinko

Case in point, Jesse's house from Breaking Bad this season is a "drug house".

They had a little over an ounce but they also had over $3000 in cash on them which didnt help their cause.

Wisconsin defines it as knowingly allowing the warehousing for manufacturing or delivery of drugs. Class I felony, not more than $10K in fines or 3.5 years.

Right, and warehousing for the purpose of using means that I have a couple of grams in my drawer and have a couple buddies over to smoke.

$10k in fines or 3.5 years makes sense though, because pot kills people.

Has Wisconsin had medical on the ballot yet? If not are there talks of it? I know when I lived there it wasn't talked about but with Michigan pioneering the midwest into the medical game I figure the hippies in Madison would be all over this.

The state does not always follow Madison.

Running a drug house is for any drugs, not just pot.

Definitely.  And any amount of drugs, not just enough to hit you with an "intent to distribute" charge.

I guess my point is that throwing the book at a couple of college kids over some pot is reprehensible.  It's a life-ruiner over something that's not hurting anybody.

dudes shoulda built a dryersheet floor to ceiling curtain.  along with some other crazy sh!t some dudes on my floor in schroeder came up with to smoke copious amounts of weed.

And the whole time my friends were weatherproofing their rooms, I was just wandering around campus high as a kite :P

See, I thought we were discussing the laws that exist, not whether or not the laws should exist. I've said for a long time that legalization and taxation is the way to go.
