Phil Nolan is attending Milwaukee Riverside and hopes for eligibility in 2011-12 from WIAA.

If he is declared eligible, Riverside would have to be considered the pre-season #1 for D1 wouldn't they?

Riverside is loaded. Lots and lots of size and some good guard play. 4 starters back from club that went 23-3.

Nolan is a combo forward. Can step outside and make some shots, but also can go inside and score. Longer than long. Runs the floor very well. Good shot blocker. Needs to play with more intensity and urgency. Also needs to get stronger and tougher, but his potential is very, very good.

I'm glad to hear this. Nolan's had plenty of criticism on our boards, but he's a good athlete, quick, and has a decent jumper. He needs to bulk up, clearly, but if we don't end up getting Auguste or Mbargorba, he'd be a fantastic back-up option.

any of those kids would be fine, but I like Milwaukee kids.  Kevin Looney plays for riverside as well, so it be good
for Buzz to hang around Riverside this fall.

Kevon Looney attends Milwaukee Hamilton, not Riverside.
