I'll be there next weekend with my girlfriend and looking for a good restaurant for dinner Saturday night as well as a place to grab a few after-dinner drinks.  We're mid-20s so we don't mind a slightly noisy/racuous atmosphere. We're staying at the Hilton in Market Square, so anything walkable or a short cab ride would work. Thanks for the help.

UT recruits recomend there is always a party with a young wild crowd at Bruce Pearls house. Call Kiffin at USC for some tel. nos of some friendly hot chicks--if the wife will give you the hall pass.

Reality---Rumorz on the UT strip (Cumberland Ave.) has a good rep, drinks, food, dancing etc., ...or check out the others on the strip...its sort of like a poorman's 6th street in Austin

I have a worry about Kevin McHale bringing Sampson into Houston....was Sampson a good coach for the Bucks? What is his specialty as an NBA assistant?
