I'm not knowledgeable enough to know the tactics, but the US is way more fun to watch in this gold cup than they have been in a long time

I don't know either, but their 2nd goal was sweet.  Nevertheless, they seem to make a ton of stupid mistakes defensively.  The great teams seem to be able to control the ball pretty consistently and use the entire field.

In a largely forgettable, disjointed Gold Cup, its amazing to see the continued ascendancy of Diego Luna. Grinded up for years, got screwed out of a deserved Olympic team spot, now is breaking out for the USMNT when he gets an opportunity.  Really hopes he gets looks for a move to a better league cause he's only 21 and can get so much better.  Think the Championship or Portugal make a lot of sense for him.

Ive been in a state of shock all morning.  Wins the Premier League, the Nations League, and gets married in the span of just over a month and then a complete freak accident occurs.  Absolutely awful.

People always get elevated after their passing, but Jota was a truly lovely guy who was beloved around Liverpool for his personality and demeanor as much as his on the field prowess.  Not at all hard to find tales and evidence of it.  Really tough news for the whole communnity.

They did indoor fireworks before the game with the roof closed.

This game feels like the 2011 Gold Cup Final. We went ahead early 2-0, but Mexico had the better of play and ended up winning 4-2. That early goal was nice, but they are clearly the much better team in this game.

We look pretty lost out there Brew.  Why can't we find guys that can control the ball and attack?

We can't find a way to control the ball.  And once we get the ball we immediately turn it over.  We don't seem to have any clue how to build and then attack.
