Haha, 441 Row H 1-2 were my backup seats if I didn't get the 425 Row Fs I was looking at ;D

And 425 Row F were my backups. Even though they were two rows lower, I can't NOT sit on the aisle. I get nervous late in games when it's close and need to go out several times and get a drink of water. LOL But, two satisfied customers right here in you and I!  ;D

Interesting seat selection by someone (see attached screen capture).  Antisocial?

Actually was told by couple of people (BG fund and tckt mgr) that new prez has a much larger entourage for games than previous- section 200.  Also my nephew is a dean, and all deans get 2 seats in 200, if they wish.  He passes and sits in second tier.  gets to watch game w/o 'shop talk'.
Bill Cords grandfathered staff and admin sth's to same seats each year, but cannot change them, or go to spot determined by priority points.

Cullinan by chance?  I've seen him up in the eagles nest near my crew

I was in 425, Row M, 6-7 last year. Aside from loving the games, the highlight of the season was being known for winning the Ambassador free nights, which I did twice.

Uhhhhh!! I can't believe you won ambassador tix twice!! I always thought I was soooo close to winning.  I was in 425 H last year, right over the railing -- must have seen ya at somepoint!  My group has the armenian that yells the whole game :D

I'm sure it depends on the section, but our section did. At least a few of us joined in on the chants and songs too. It might not be the same as the lower bowl, but in the right section, it can still be enjoyable.

It feels/felt awkward to stand up in my section though when people behind me weren't . . .

IDK, i think the grass is often greener.  I was all gung-ho to sit in the lower bowl, but none of my cohort is willing to pony up the dough. So if all y'all lower bowlers want a chance in the eagles nest, i think we could arrange a trade, lol.  And YES, SKA, you ought to buy the cheap seats & hawk 'em on craigslist or stubhub.  You will make 200% back on your investment easily.

Cheers

Our group had 441 F and G 11-14 each row the past four years. The railings and glass definitely are a factor.

Still not a bad place to sit though, bummed we lost out on them this year.

Maybe someone who will be out of the country for the season and wanted to keep up their point totals without taking away good seats for someone that will actually be at the games?  :)

I'm pretty sure I know exactly which guys you are, largely because of the Armenian ;D

Where are you at this year, still in 425? If so, I'm sure I'll see you.

Right .. like .. how often do people in the upper deck stand up during a pivotal moment in the game?     Ever?

My buddy and I, who each have 2 tickets, so 4 total stand almost the entire game.  Which is precisely the reason I love getting the tickets we have had the past 4 years in 441 Row B.  Someone else swiped those seats up right before us this year, so now in equivalent section of 425 Row B.  Row B of that section means you are right when you walk in the gates you are right in front, and there is no one behind you, which is perfect for us to stand and not bother anyone and if you need to escape quickly, easy enough to hop over the rail.

I'd bet the people sitting behind you are glad you're gone.

And hopping over the railings?  How old are you?

Mr. Nielsen

Read what he wrote again. He sits in the section that has the tunnel. The next row after B is H, so nobody is behind him.

LOL Oh the irony. I was looking at EXACTLY the same sections and seats you were. Now I know who took the 425 ones.  ;) I was a bit disappointed like you that the 441 Row F's were gone, but I like being on the aisle anyway(even if that was only a 4 seat row) so I went with 441 Row H. Was in 428 Row D last year. Don't really like being much higher than 4 rows up, but....these are closer to center court than 428, so I can live with it. :)
So, tell me about my new seats please.  Does anyone actually watch the game or are they to busy texting friends or talking to each other about their weekend shopping excursions?

Seriously....read and look before you speak if you are going to attempt to insult me.  There is no one behind you when you are in Row B of that section, unless you count the railing, which basically means that rather than make 4-5 people to my left or right stand up so I can exit the row, I go over the back of the seat to get out so they can continue sitting.  Wow, who would've thought one would get chastised for being considerate.

TallTitan34

Sweet!  I'm moving from 442 to 424.  Closer to the Armenian!

I read what he wrote.  You've never sat behind/at-an-angle to people in those seats, apparently.  There's already glass and railings to contend with without having someone stand up in front of you.  There's a very narrow viewing angle for the people in the corners of the upper deck, and the seating is shallow enough that when tall people stand up it can ruin a lot of views.

Edited: My post was uncalled for.  So is yours, though.  You can't assume that someone's trying to personally insult you on the internet.  Just because you're doing something without thinking that happens to be stupid, doesn't mean that you yourself are stupid.  :)

Completely false.

As someone who sat in 441 Row F a couple years back, people in row B were blocking both our view and the student section's view when they stood up.

Keep disagreeing though.  You're doing well.  I'm sure my years of sitting in the seats behind where you're talking about are wrong.

FAIL...

I'm glad i was able to ruin your view and the view of the students in the upper corner for those 2 games a year they showed up for.

Also glad to know that you were personally stewing in your anger for years only to unleash on a message board.  rather than addressing it politely in person when it could have been changed.  Yes, i am smiling about this.

1.  You're misusing the fail meme
2.  You're making pretty big assumptions while spending your time typing out stuff that's wrong :P

I'm smiling too.  I'm not mad, I'm just trying to calm the dude down over a perceived insult that I didn't intend.  I don't really get angry over anonymous people on the Internet :)

There have always been plenty of cat-calls for "Down in front" from the student section about rows A+B, plus the security guard that tends to hang around on that landing.  And section 440 (that first student-section in the upper deck) was halfway full for most of the year.  The bottom two rows in the upper deck can seriously impact viewable angles for the rest of the sections if there are people standing up, even more so in the corners where the viewing angles are shallow and across multiple sections.

MU gimp ONE

nope, pretty sure those "cat calls" were from your wife about my backside.  Tell her thanks, i do work out.  I have a sweet ass, i can't help it.
