I don't care for the baby blue jersey lettering. Way too plain. I hope they stay with how the lettering is on all the other 3 colors if they go to a new jersey. That's kinda their "trademark" now. It's cool looking and very unique.

I want to see this, but with a squawking Golden Eagle instead of a Hawk.

There have been rumors of a black alternate jersey that supposedly exists. Some were saying they were goin to wear them when we played Duke.

Obviously, that didn't happen. I realize it's not one of our colors but I think the a Blacks with a silver Jumpman Logo would look Sweeeeeeet.

I could get behind a special occasion black uni, if it's only work a couple times a season.

lots of schools have a black alternate uni, Duke, Washington come to mind. I dont think it's one of their colors but their uniforms look great. Black with the baby blue/gold would be really sweet, I could see us sporting those in Madison next year...

Black players in black uniforms? That'd be worth it just to see how many "traditional" heads explode in the Kohl Center.

Don't forget the black shoes, black socks, dreads and bazookas...

While people on here may not like the potential of black unis, I can almost guarantee future recruits would love them.  Black alternates always seem to be received well by the younger demos.  I hate Duke and even I will admit I liked the blacks when they first rolled them out.

No to black uni's.

No to recruits who would actually sign with a college taking into account that the team has a black alternate jersey.

OK State has black alternates too.

It'd have to be used once a year, twice at most.  I love the idea of wearing those in Madison.

I hate the black alternate trend. Why do it? If its not a team's color they have no business wearing it, dumb, dumb and dumb. I love being flashy, and there cant be many other college bball teams with 4 options like us, but I def say no to black, hate it, trying to hard, we have history to be wearing all the colors we have, no need to put anything dumb in there...

Ya except black is one of their primary colors.  When schools go with black for blacks sake it's just dumb.  You look like you're just trying to make more money by selling a jersey that wasn't available before.  I would lose all respect for Marquette if we followed this idiotic trend in college basketball.

I am for just about any type of jersey other than Duke's style.  I never saw a more gross uniform.

I'm pretty sure Duke is proof that recruits don't look at uniforms when they choose a school.

1st, black alternates, hell yeah.  Keep em secret, roll em out in Madison.

2nd, how would they look with baby blue numerals?  Although gold is one of our colors, black and gold unis are plentiful.

I'm pretty sure the whole black jersey rumor just came from a poster on scoop hoping for them to wear black jerseys and not someone official.

I hope we never ever have a black jersey. When one of your school colors is Blue, there is no need for a black jersey.  The Navy jerseys look great.
