Pretty funny stuff.  Especially in the "Buzz's Team" thread.  C&CDean is a pretty ignorant poster.

kept talking about how great a job OU is and then talked about their crappy stadium and facilities and the poor state of the program.

He refused to consider MU a major program, and said any mid-major coach who wouldn't want to come to OU was an idiot.

Then he talked about how much greater their history must be compared to MU if someone would just look it up.  He finally shut up when someone posted that we have more NCAA appearances, more titles, more sweet 16's and an equal number of wins.  They do have 1 more Final Four.

I really hope so, but we've got a rough road in front of us.  If we beat UNC that's a quick turnaround to a really good tOSU team (probably).

When I read it, I thought the guy that said mid-major was talking about Brad Stevens from Butler who was mentioned in the previous post.

Then another guy defined mid-major as any team without a football team.  So SJU, GU, MU are all mid-majors.

But this goes to a major point we have been saying here, the OU guys think Bball coaches WANT TO go to a school with a big-time football program so they can stand in its shadow.

If the world worked that way, then go get Coach K.

He specifically talked about the size of our AD budget and called us mid-major.  I can't even necessarily argue that particular point - we kind of are hard to classify and fit somewhere between a high-major and mid-major.

I thought the funny part was when he refused to admit that any mid-major coach, including Brad Stevens, would be crazy if they didn't want to give up everything they had going in order to deal with the craptacular situation at OU.

OU fans have set their minds on Buzz-or-bust-mode. Frankly, I think Buzz would be crazy to leave Milwaukee. Great city, great fanbase and a top 25 team returning.

Soonerfans.com is a horrible site and they have ZERO inside connections. I'll be real honest, Sooner fans are mostly idiots and delusional to boot. Our main hoops site is OUhoops.com. You'll find idiots over there too unfortunately. When it comes to basketball, our fans are like kids with training wheels. They think our bball program is equal to our football team. They don't realize we only bring in $8.5 million in revenue which would be #30+ nationally. Idiots I tell you.
