Honest question:  Is there any reason that Marquette could not purchase these shoes for the team?  That couldn't be a violation, could it?  Marquette provides equipment for the team; is there a reason they couldn't provide these specific shoes?

Right, motivation for new shoes is going to make them play out of their mind....
