Finally caught up with all the threads from yesterday.  I'm ticked off about the game.  I feel like the mentee got schooled by the mentor - but in no way do I think that means Crean is suddenly a terribly coach.

Anyhow, on to the warning - I know emotions are running higher than usual, but the next person that resorts to childish name calling, or makes a comment having to do with heads and asses being shoved anywhere is going to be banned.  If you can't hold a mature conversation, then you need to go away and cool down for a while.

thank you rocky...this board needs a reality check right now and  i hope that people do wake up from their fits of rage/anger/whatever and realize what we have at the university and what this board is supposed to be used for. I mean come on people. We're not Madison, we don't need to bash each other on our own boards.

Rocky, your post should be stickied so others won't bump it down. Decorum must be held above all else. But arguments should be allowed to get heated - of course, with respect.

DC, there are jokes and then there are just blatent, idiotic attacks on individuals and while Crean has not gotten us many bigs, he is worth his salary for the publicity alone that he's given this University...and i emphasize the university as a whole.

Amen, Rocky. I know it is hard to hold one's tongue when feelings are running so hot (one of the reasons I didn't post last night). I woke up this morning and it was snowing again in Erie, so I know all was right with the world. Thanks for all you (and spiral and SoCal) do.
