Gotta hand it to Buzz and the coaching staff, even though Syracuse shot a high % tonight, that was another great defensive effort and game plan. Give Syracuse credit for shooting well (early on anyway), but MU's defense tonight was outstanding, especially in the post. Jackson was off his game, Scoop never looked comfortable, great job.

Looking ahead, I can see Butler guarding Barnes, not sure if Otule can handle Henson or Zeller, be interesting to see what Buzz can come up with. I think MU is a dangerous team against Carolina though. If Washington hit some shot today, they would have won. Might sound odd, but I'd "almost" rather play Carolina than Washington, if that makes sense.

UNC barely surived the Washington team that beat MU at the buzzer last year.  I'm sure MU will be fine.
