Great job today having the team ready to play and keeping them composed at the end. The Marquette future looks GREAT!

+1 Goose, I think he's earned an extension. Who'd have thought we'd be saying that after a 14-loss season? ;D

Way to go, Buzz!

Thats what I'm talkin' bout!

Man Crush absolutely validated today!!

I love Buzz!

Ners---I might be catching the man crush fever. You were a trend setter.

Seriously, some of the finest coaching I've seen this year.  The game plan for Xavier, brilliant.  The timeouts and the plays out of the timeouts against Syracuse, double brilliant (or bi-winning if you prefer).

Buzz did a fabulous job. He is clearly still learning how to coach at this level, but it's obviously sinking in. I'm absolutely thrilled with what he's done with the team.
HE is the reason this team kept it going and showed heart like none other. They could VERY easily have gotten to 19-9 down and caved, folded up the tents, gotten slapped around, and called it a 'nice' season.
Outstanding job, everybody!

BRING ON THE HEELS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks Goose!  And you've been reasonable in your debates..we just tend to disagree on if MU can land a top flight proven coach (in the event Buzz were to leave), or after Crean left...

But Buzz has that "it" factor.  Just is a man's man..his path and effort to get to where he is should be inspiring to anybody.  Had NO connections to the NCAA basketball world - never played college ball, small town kid, no connections in the NCAA..just did it through working harder than most anyone is willing

I was on campus for the UK win in 1994. This was soooo much sweeter. Holy crape!

Toby-from-The Office (aka Cottingham)...please, please, please pay Buzz his money. Mr. Strong...please locate another $300-500k/year to help continue our improved basketball efforts.

WOWWWWWW.

Incredible line!  I was so pumped when he stormed into the locker room after firing that off!  Gotta love the fact that the program is in his hands
