Just think, you don't have to worry about Badgers fans for at least another 4 days...you have equal footing with them.  Who knows, Butler might pull the upset and we might pull a bigger one.

Enjoy the week

This amazing resume belongs to your beloved Gold. You really, really don't want to compare it to what UW has done in that time frame. Oh and by the way, we never lost to Liberty, get a clue before you post.

You are a joke

Much like your basketball team, can't wait till UNC takes you to the woodshed. We'll send you a postcard from the Elite Eight.

hey dumbass we have more wins in the tourney than your joke of a program has even played in, and i wouldnt be to sure about you elite eight just yet. whats happened the last couple times you played a high seed you were supposed to beat? lets see...

UNLV, Davidson, Cornell...

and last time you played an 8 seed? you got destroyed by 20

Instead, i get to be like most of my friends and family who like sports, we like both Wisconsin and Marquette. I just like MU slightly more because i live in Milwaukee.

Sports bigamists are losers.

Hey dumbass, that is wrong. but thanks for playing.

As of today:

Marquette 36-29
Wisconsin 23-15 (38)

Now I understand the Marquette education is pretty lax, but most know that 38 is more than 36. Gotta love how we have the slight win % too. Now I know that you'll argue "oh but we have been to the tourney so many more times"

My answer.. give it a few years :)

The fact that your argument is that we have 36 wins is not greater than your 38 total games played is pretty pathetic. Those numbers show show who the better program is. And should I mention our number would be greater if not the fact we skipped the tourney in 1970 and won the NIT instead.

Marquette's history is better, for now. But being in my 20's.. it's nice that my team has been the cream of the crop in the state of Wisconsin, and one of the better teams in the country in general.

Sorry, I was thinking about the other Curry brother (Seth).  You lost to Davidson, when Stephen took you to the woodshed.  Davidson-Liberty, meh...either is embarassing.

Serious question, why do you hate Marquette so much?  You've obviously invested a lot of time and effort to keep coming back here and even do research.  I'm curious what would make you want to do that.  The Scout board gets more drive-by people people from other schools because it's part of a larger network, but Scoop is a little more off the beaten path.

Here is a fun one.

Buzz and "the Gold" defeated Syracuse, a #3 seed, on Sunday.  In his illustrious tenure at UW, Bo's best win in the tournament is arguably over #5 seeded KSU on Saturday.  To this point, Bo has never defeated a #4 seed or higher.  And for fun, Buzz has 2 wins over teams seeded #8 or higher this season alone.  In his career at UW, how many Wins does Bo have in the tourney over teams seeded in the top half of the bracket seed wise?...3

I don't spend a lot of time here (under 30 posts). While I don't like Marquette, it's interesting to see what's going on over here. Others do the same, for example Marquette fans on UW boards. I never really posted here until I saw this garbage thread. We have built a program that is very good year in and year out. It's asinine for fans of a 14 loss team in the Sweet Sixteen to call Wisconsin of all teams lucky.

Let's review just how "lucky" we've been.

*EARNING a 4 seed
*Game never in question against 30-4 Belmont
*Beating a very good KSU team.

Then this thread was created because we play Butler instead of Pitt. Sure I'd rather play Butler, but we match up extremely well with both teams. We play well against athletic teams who don't play the most fundamental basketball (majority of the big east). As for Butler, they are a lot like us, but we have the size, and are better at all the things they do well. (free throw shooting, taking care of the ball etc.) Nothing is a given, but I think Wisconsin will win.

Nothing lucky about our season. Great coaching, talented players, and hard work has us looking forward to our 26th win and an Elite Eight appearance.

Incorrect, Matt goes to Marian, isn't that right Matty?

Not sure who you are, but you are real creepy. I live in a suburb of Milwaukee, but I'm sure you already knew that, freak.

Come on now.  You mean the one man team who lost double digit games (which you have repeatedly bashed MU for) and who was overseeded as a result of beating Kansas?  KSU wasn't a joke, but to call them a very good team, especially after watching their "offense" at the end of that Wisconsin game is revisionist.

Maybe you went to Beaver Dam HS and graduated in 2006?  Maybe you like to have a Myspace with your picture with no shirt on, and your jeans, hanging down past your ass?  Maybe you like stuffed crust pizza?

These are all just guesses.

I could go on.  And for your own good, I won't post the link.

I always love when people say "WE".  First of all you aren't on the team.  Second, you didn't even go to UW.

Also love the name calling, always the avenue of last resort in an argument.

That's a 30 year old creep to you sir, and I would have.  But weird, the Myspace profile is now a broken link.

Must be coincidence.  Seems like someone got a little embarrassed.
