Didn't check Twitter all day and THIS happens!

Welcome to MU, Todd! We're going to need your shot, aggressiveness around the boards (drives and rebounds), as well as some stout D.

I read in one of the articles that he also enjoys playing lock-down defense.    Finally.

I don't think it's our players "want-to" that is the problem on D.  they definitely play hard on both ends 99% of the time.

3 commits thus far and all high school kids???  Buzz must really be reading the board and listening to Chicos.

Not traditional enough.   Juan isn't a pure 3, Mayo isn't a pure 2, Derick isn't a pure 1.

Have you ever heard of the term "switchable"?

Not to mention...this has got to be a double kick in the balls to WVU..after we beat them Wednesday night...to go 2-0 on the year against them...then yesterday they offer Mayo...a kid who has a WVU tattoo...and today he commits to MU.

OUCH for WVU, but +10000 to MU

Sorry if someone already asked but why does the kid have a WVU tattoo?

Good question...but I'm going to have to argue that both Derrick Wilson and Juan Anderson are traditionals, as they are rumored to be very intelligent off the court - which should translate to on court intelligence.  Additionally, both Derrick and Juan are rumored to be solidly fundamentally, though Juan has a little shake and bake in his game.

At the end of the day, let's just hope 1 of these 3 kids will be Gasser good.

Why?  Is that tatoo not allowed somehow?  So he's from WV and he got a tat, what's the big deal?

Jesus you are obsessed with Chicos.  Honestly, he hasn't brought up the JUCO stuff since he said he would stop.  You bring all of these things that you claim he brings up more than he does.  It's kind of weird how much you obsess over him, not going to lie.

He was runnerup MVP at the National Prep tourney - the MVP was a 98 and is rated the #1 player in the 2012 class. Players he outshone  included a kid named Ledo (97 and #13 in 2012) and PJ Hairston (97 and 2011 North Carolina recruit). Probably 30+ high major players at the tournament. If Todd Mayo turns out to be an 89 (150-200) player for us I'll be surprised and disappointed.

VegasWarrior77

Ricardo Ledo is Todd's teammate and just decommitted from Providence.  Super talented but seems to have moved around a lot.

Agreed... who cares.  Although, I do feel somewhat sympathetic to the WVU fans who are going to see their team get lit up the next four years by some kid with their logo on his arm.

Fantastic. Now let's find us another big man to push chris and DG to get even better.
