I wonder if Jae gets fewer and fewer calls because he screams and 1 every time he goes to the hoop.  Perhaps he could take it stronger instead of worrying about yelling.

Hards Alumni

they all do it.

it is probably habit by this point

Danny Noonan

He just needs to take it stronger and he will get more calls.

Crowder is having a very bad game on both ends.
Calvin:  I'm a genius.  But I'm a misunderstood genius.
Hobbes:  What's misunderstood about you?
Calvin:  Nobody thinks I'm a genius.

Yes, he is really struggling.  Seemed to be mentally out of it early and not working his tail off like he normally does.  Better to have it tonight then next Thurs/Fri.

There's a tiredness aspect to his game, both physically AND mentally.

Then how do you explain the last 3 weeks?  He hasn't been the same player for awhile.  He spends far too much time preening to the refs to pay attention to things like getting back on defense or making lay-ups

I could be wrong, but it seems exceptionally foolish to yell 'and 1' when you don't first make the '2'.

And, what's up with the free throws?  Seriously, I didn't think he was going to draw iron.

Maybe a little rest and he comes back big in the 1st round?

Probably not

My wife came by the room where I was watching the game last night as Crowder was about to shoot a free throw.  He missed, badly.  She looked at me with that look that says, "WTF was that?"  I told her "that was a close one for him."

Or maybe he's Ryan Amoroso.  Can't be much more than 50/50 either way.

Jae was not only out of gas last night, he's tailed off rather noticeably over the last third of the season. He apparently worked his ass off in the past to get rid of excess weight but I wonder of there is a lingering conditioning issue.

Skitch

Two threads tittled "and 1" and not one mention of the professor or skip to my Lou?
