He mentioned that we are a small team last night a few times (one time with Otule on the court).  And we really are not that small.  I think we are average.

brought this up in another thread. I think he will mention that fact 4 times tonight. And I disagree we are pretty small.

Windyplayer

Yeah, he's leaning too much on history. Can't blame the guy, but he is flat-out wrong.

Don't we all  ;)

According to Pomeroy, our average height is 106th in the country, which ties for 8th in the Big East with Pitt.
But our effective height is 209th, mainly because of MU's not-so-hot FG percentage defense, I suspect.

Does anyone know what effective height is?  Does Pomeroy average the height of players weighted by their minutes per game?
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

I'm pretty knowledgeable in what effective length is if anyone needs help with that.

That is funny!

Does 'effective length' take into account rebounds and put backs?

uncle zeffy

He also said that we will always be the warriors in his eyes so he has +karma in my book

Yes, in addition to backdoor plays.

I love the fetish videos that you shoot with the other dude effectively servicing your old lady.   8-)

Lay off Bilas. At least he didn't call Junior "Cat-again" like the ESPN anchor did last night. I don't even know how you get "Cat-Again" out of his name. I knew it was Cadougan the moment I saw we were recruiting him.
