After watching a few Big East games this weekend, I saw that L'Ville had a White Out and Slick Rick wore his all white suit.

It also looked like a majority of the G'Town fans were in gray so maybe that was a Gray Out?

Althought Cincy isn't a ranked opponent, Wednesday is senior night and is definitely a huge game in terms of NCAA and Big East seeding as it appears right now.

How does the athletic department go about promoting something like this?

Although we play better in Whites, it'd be cool to get the whole place decked out in Gold while the team wears Gold.

Probably a lot easier said than done, though...

I was pretty surprised at the amount of gold I saw in the lower bowl on Sunday. Seemed like there was a higher percentage of gold than normal. With that being said, I would love to see an actual gold out, where 95% of people were wearing it. Not going to happen on such short notice though.

It didn't even get done with the university gave free tshirts to everyone in attendance a couple years ago.

I'd be happy with just a sell out.

Sadly, student attendance will be quite low. Lots of people have mid-terms this week. Which sucks because this is a huge game. I honestly think if they can sell them to other people, they should take some student tix away.
Warrior in the class of 2011.

Georgetown peeps always wear gray, so every game would be a gray out.  Didn't we just have a "valor-blue"-out, anyway??

the baby blue game?  This fat ass on a goddamn medium.  people were walking around with armfuls of tshirts, while a lot of people didn't get 1.  have to put them on the seats and have the ushers and ticketholders regulate that crap.

There are too many MU fans that march to their own crappy drum.  It will never happen.  >:(

This is true, it's the nature of our fan base, we're just never damn good at this kind of stuff.

1) we have a lot of fans that are banker/lawyer types that go straight to games from the office, and the gold sweater-vest only looks good on Father Wild.

2) too many colors - is this supposed be a gold-out? white-out? baby-blue out? or a navy blue-out?  or are we just supposed to wear a gray MU sweatshirt?  MU makes this worse by changing it up all the time.  Maybe we could coordinate a color-out by row to match the piping on our unis...  1st row gets baby-blue, 2nd row gets gold, 3rd row gets navy, and repeat.  That would actually look cool if they could pull it off.

That would be cool.  Something to work on for 2012...

Only wear gold to games.  It's the only color that stands out besides baby blue and I don't have enough baby blue gear.

I'd be happy if the students looked less like empty seats...

But then they give out baby-blue shirts to students for some games, give away white shirts to the crowd, if they want people to wear gold, then they need to be consistent.

Agreed.  There were no baby-blue tshirts when I was in school.  I snagged the sweet 30th anniversary one at that game a few years ago, but that's all I have.

bleedbluegold03

sad as it is the ONLY way to get a Color-out is to give away a free T to everyone at the game

I agree. You can stay up and study for mid-terms. We've all done it. Not that hard.

brewcity77

They only do seem to do color-outs now for the student section. And considering only 60-65% of them show up, it doesn't work real well.

Because most of them are wearing the same shirt "We Are Georgetown."

Want a "_______ out"?

Give away the "GRIND TOGETHER, SHINE TOGETHER" t-shirts.

Yeah the only reason I thought it could be done was because I went to the Chicago White Sox tiebreaker game against the Twins back in '08 and it became a "Black Out" with only like a day of notice I wanta say.

I don't remember how the word even got out but the stadium looked awesome and every fan was given a black towel, as well.

Maybe just food for thought for next season...

Most unbelievable sporting event I have been to in person. I am also a die-hard Chi Sox fan. Literally 98% of the crowd was in black.

Agreed. Aside from pretty much any Marquette game in the BC, this was the coolest sporting event I'd ever been to. Clinching a playoff spot after 163 games is an awesome feat and to do it in front of a sold out stadium decked in Black.

Although it's not a guarantee, a lot of experts say if we beat Cincy we "clinch" a berth. It'd be cool to do it at a packed Bradley Center.

We Are Marquette!

This should be the MU student credo.

Hang that banner in the BC.

I'll be happy with people who have tickets, to show up at the game. Way to many no-shows at these Big East games. ( St.John's and PC)
