I liked the way Otule started the game, had good position on the block and made a nice move to the basket: except he missed the shot. Need to pound him the ball more on offense.

Otule/Gardner: 0 points, 0 rebounds, 4 fouls.  You got to be kidding.

Zone defense: never worked, USF hit three 3 pointers.

On two occasions, MU played great d, first on an inbound play under the basket with 3 seconds on shot clock, USF's Famous got a layup.  Then with 11 seconds left in game and two seconds on shot clock, deflected ball went right to USF player for layup.  How many layups did MU allow?  Too many.

Last play of half, a turnover, well almost, by Buycks led to a lucky MU basket.

I hope no members of the selection committee are watching this.  It was brutal.  But another half to go and lets hope Buzz lit them up at halftime.

I gotta say, I love what Buzz Williams is doing with the bigs this game.  They've been pretty well neutralized, and usf is beating us cause their shooting well instead of killing us in the paint.  They won't shoot like that forever.  Also not really playing Otule, keeping him fresh along with keeping Gardner in and burning his free fouls and energy along with using fulce a lot more for crowder so he can play the whole 2nd half will pay dividends.
