looks to be very smooth and just glides along  he looks like 6'3 to me.Aki must be working his tail off. hard to get a kid like him to commit to the warriors when gtown is right in his backyard. Great work MU staff...

I'll be curious to see where else we use 2012 schollies. Pretty sure we only have 2 graduating scholarships in DJO and Crowder, so barring another transfer, we have one left. Not sure if I'd rather see it go to JPT, a big, or a point. With so many switchables on board, I think a big or point would suit our needs better. Love to see Buzz add Stokes or Nolan.

As I mentioned earlier, I doubt that when all is said and done we will only have one scholie remaining.  I am not convinced for instance that Buzz will use both of the ones for 2011.

If we have two left, Tokoto and Nolan.

I f we have a chance to land a big committment like Nolan in the next few month for 2012, we should do it.

If Tokoto still wants to come that is fixable. We have 2 sholarships yet available for 2011, and can keep one open for Tokoto. The key would be to get one of those 2012 guys to commit now, or soon, so we know what to do with the two remaining for 2011.
I thought you were dead. Willie lives rent free in Reekers mind.

No question, Buzz will use both available scholarships for '11. The era of banking them has long since past.

Welcome to Marquette Jamal!  You are joining a great team with a great tradition that truly appreciates good basketball.  We look forward to watching you play.  We encourage you to keep stretching and growing.  We need as much height as possible.

If I'm reading that line-up correctly, our last two schollies will be used brining back Mbao and Maymon

Sad to see the Big 3's class is almost out of the table now.
“All men dream; but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds wake in the day to find that it was vanity; but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act out their dreams with open eyes, to make it possible.” - T.E. Lawrence

From a fellow Virginia native, welcome Jamal!

I am thrilled that we can grab another great Virginia player while going up against ACC teams including Virginia and Virginia Tech in state and Maryland just to the north, as well as beating out Georgetown.

The Texas pipeline, and now big grabs from California and Virginia back to back, wow we are looking like a national team.  The program is awesome!

If we can keep getting the in-state recruits like Vander as well I think Buzz will have a pretty solid recruiting network established.

I'm really glad he committed but I still can't help but get only so excited. It's only a verbal commit and he can opt out later if he wants, it kinda happens all the time. So until its signed I'm not holding my breath too much
