Can't stand that guy.  Whiney punk.
Ludum habemus.

Don't hate on the traditional player.  He is what Gasser aspires to be.

Although not as Jerry Springeresque, Hansbrough has officially filled the void left by Eric Devendorf.

MUEng92

He's no Devendorf.

BTW, I couldn't remember Devendorf's name so I googled "Syracuse punk" which is apparently a band. "Syracuse basketball punk"... Devendorf was #2 result  ;D

tower912

No.   Devendorf had several other reasons to hate him.   Hansbrough just got really frustrated tonight.

Funny how the mere mention of the word "punk" and everyones thoughts turn to Devendorf.

The students can't chant "Trailer Trash" for Hansbrough.

Crowder was jawing with him late in the game as well.  I didn't pick up on anything during the game, but when I saw this post I figured I had missed something.

I believe Hansbrough had been called for an off the ball foul shortly before that. My assumption is that the earful he was getting from JC had something to do with that. Also, earlier in the game BH had turned the ball over and Jae went to get the ball from him and instead of handing it over, he snatched it back and it flung it behind him down the court away from Jae.

The morals of the stories: Hansbrough is a punk.

Sw that and was waiting for Jae to do something about it. Kudos to him he did nothing. Scoreboard

Sir Lawrence

Earlier in the game he was ready to shoot a free throw, knowing damn well that he shouldn't have been there, then acted surprised and hurt that he was caught cheating.  Buzz went crazy and the refs corrected the situation, putting the correct shooter on the line.  The rest of the night BH whined like a puppy during the first night of crate training.
Ludum habemus.

Lennys Tap

I would never have wanted Devendorf on our team, but I'd take Hansbrough in a heartbeat.

Freeport Warrior

I like his game. He certainly was frustrated tonight, but man does he work hard off the ball. Told my kid to watch how hard he plays. Glad we suffocated him, but admire his non-stop effort.

Frenns Liquor Depot

I don't know if he is a punk, but the word "spastic" comes to mind while watching his game.

wardle2wade

His attitude and skill set remind's me of a poor man's Diener... ehhh maybe a homeless man's Diener.

lame thread. Ben H. is a solid player and I'd take him on my team any day of the week.

I STILL HATE ND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Doris Burkes Thong

Notre Dame clearly has a lot of "traditionalism" majors on their team.

And they're ranked in the top 10, have wins over Wisconsin-madison, Gonzaga, Georgetown, UCONN, St. John's, Georgia, California, etc.

Don't think so. He has quite a ways to go to match Defendork as a world class punk.

I have no interest in having an obnoxious, whiny flop-artist on my team, especially one who gets as rattled as Hansbrough did last night.
