"Indiana said they want me and talked about how I would come in for 2012 and not 2011 since I'm reclassifying."

With Zeller there...good luck.

"With my college decision distance is a factor. My parents want me to stay close home so they could watch me so they would want me to go to Indiana. It think overall it's the best school for me because I want to go to the NBA and get a 4 year experience at college  just in case something happens. Academics is important so I want a good academic school but I mean distance shouldn't be an issue."

Sounds like it's an Indiana school.

"Watching wise, I think my favorite conference is probably the Big East  because they always play with a lot of energy and have a lot of highlights. My favorite team to watch is probably Duke when they play at home because the crowd is so into it. The Pitt and Marquette game is coming up and I'm not sure who will win. Pitt has a great team and they coach eally well but Marquette will give a good fight. They are probably the underdogs here but I think Pitt is more aggressive and scrappy; should be a good game."

A nice sit on the fence then leap into the Zoo.

Sounds like an intriguing prospect, don't get me wrong.
But lots can be read into what he says.

We should be recruiting kids who WANT to be here. Not kids who could see themselves here.

Paraphrasing Buzz, MU's not about building solid teams...it's about building a solid program.

Kid seems pretty "scatter brained" if you ask me.

His musings are a bit stream of coonsciousness, but, heck, he's a kid.

This could be the first recruit we are truly going head to head with against Crean.

GGGG

He's a 2012 recruit who reclassified from 2011 and went to Brewster for grades.  Scout has him rated at #92.  6'10".  We'll see...Chesterton is closer to Milwaukee than Bloomington.

Heres another quote for you:

"I've been working on my 3-point shot a lot," he explained. "Over the summer, that's all I did. I just need to work on my handles, and I've been working on my strength a lot. I'm not really an inside guy. I'm more of a four and a face-up guy. I can also guard smaller forwards because I'm quick on my feet."

6'11", 250 and you're not an "inside guy?"

With the influx of social media, I think we are going to see these types of personal musings more and more from recruits.
“All men dream; but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds wake in the day to find that it was vanity; but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act out their dreams with open eyes, to make it possible.” - T.E. Lawrence

I'd be shocked if this traditional player ever matriculated at MU. Seems to be all over the map.

I am just waiting for the day there is a recruit, 7'1" 300 lbs who says he would like to play point.   ::)

who went to MSU.   How about, the first recruit where it could come down to either/or.

Maurice Creek

No so much. Creek essentially followed Crean to IU. MU was in his top 3 while Crean was here...he committed to IU in May of 2008.

Same with guys like Bobby Capobianco and Christian Watford...all 3 likely would have been at MU had Crean stayed.
