Marquette football shoutout
« on: November 13, 2010, 03:42:01 PM »
Watching the Versus college football recap show, the host mentioned that Wisconsin's point total today against Indiana was the most points they've scored since an 85-0 defeat of Marquette in 1915.

If that's not a feather in our cap, I don't know what is.

Yup.  That year Wisconsin opened by beating Lawrence 82-0 and then MU 85-0.

The better lone in there is this.

'To put it it in perspective, Wisconsin's men's basketball team failed to score 83 points in 30 of its 34 games last season'

75/76 badgers got into the game.  The only one who didn't was the punter.
