From Anchorage, AK.  At least we don't have to make excuses for the Milwaukee weather.

He's short and it says he plays the game with "a warrior's mentality".  Sounds perfect for MU.

I was wondering how long it would take for someone to notice the 'warrior mentality' phrase.

I wasn't sure it would be the second post, but hey, sometimes people surprise me.

Just was MU needs.  A 6foot guard whose best position is shooting guard.  Thought we just rid of those.

Been a MU fan long b/4 you were born.

You can make such un- informed comments if you were in Greensboro and Atlanta for the Warriors.  If not just shut up.

Oooooh, tough talk.  Please, lets have more posters criticize every recruit we are linked to that is not a 4-5 star.

I think this is the level of player MU is going to end up getting as they have to realize they're going to play behind Reggie, Vander, Junior, etc. for most of their time at MU.  Looking at MU's roster next year: Wilson, Anderson, Smith, Jones, Cadougan, DJO, Blue, Williams, Gardner, Crowder, Otule.  That's a lot of talent and not much PT.

LOL...you sound like my dad when he says the Packers need to run the Lombardi power sweep more often.

Well, your Dad is right. They need the power sweep, its proven in today's NFL.

You're not wrong.

We all have droned on endlessly the last couple years about how it'd be nice to get some height in the backcourt. Seems this year we will have it. But if he's a change of pace player it fits the system better then the extended minutes we saw last season at that height.

Under Crean, MU tried to get a damn good guard out of Alaska around five years ago. If this kid's half as good as that one we'll be pretty well set.

Yet they are looking for him to have "immediate impact" - they may not like the logjam at MU.  But sounds like an interesting prospect - but we will be his first official visit.

I apologize for such un-informed comments.  My bad, rather than be my assistant, can I be yours?

So, getting back to this recruit...maybe Vander can take him to some cool Halloween parties.  I bet Jae Crowder is going to be the Predator.

Given where we are for the 2011 class, I would have no problem with a 3 star 6'0" guard that can develop into a serviceable PG and will play solid defense.  Sounds like he has a solid list of suitors and we'd be lucky to get him though.

I'm ok with it as long as he has one of the following:
1) true point guard skills
2) lights out shooting
3) 180 degree, two handed dunking

But we really should pick up a 4 or a 5 project in this other spot in this class.

While I know little to nothing about this young man, I do think it would be awesome for us to have an "Alaskan Assassin".
