ESPN and Rivals say we are in the mix for PF Kevin Thomas.  Anyone know if this is valid?  Any other info?  He looks like another guy who could give us some size we are looking for.

This video suggests he is more of a big wing/"switchable"  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2TBrt1PzRpI

Kid looks decent, he would make a nice addition 2 the squad

Yes.  Last week I believe he saw NC State and Wake.

I really enjoyed watching him play in person several times this summer.  Reminds me a lot of Erik Williams... probably a tad taller than Erik.  He can move up and down the floor quite well and can work offensively inside or out..

In a couple of games, there were stretches where he would swat shots left and right... these kids trying to score on the blocks had no chance with him anywhere in the vicinity... talking 3 or so blocks in a matter of several possessions by the lefthander.  Good length, height, plenty of potential with Kevin.

The portal is NOT closed.

Seems to have good range, and I like how he blocks the ball. Instead of going for the monster out-of-bounds rocket, he tries to keep it low so he can get it back and create the turnover. Of course, it's a highlight package, but I wouldn't be at all disappointed to add someone like this.
