to recruit against in Madison tonight vs. tOSU.

Then again, it's a reminder of the perpetual second fiddle status hoops has there.

Are you suggesting that Tokoto is going decide what path to the NBA he will take based on how much fun he has at a football game his junior year in high school?

4everwarriors

Are you suggesting the Badgers and the Big Ten don't have players in the Association. Both Tokoto and Koenig are scheduled to be in Madison tonight.

If it's between Buzz and Bo...the difference sure in heck goes a lot deeper than football.  Do you want to get up and down the court or do you want to run the swing?

There is one less now

I'm not sure exactly when it was on perhaps in the 2nd quarter of the game but they did cut to a video of UW's madness and the Badger fans must have gotten together and all decided to dress like empty seats, pretty sure that will factor in to recruiting decisions made by juniors in high school

Funny...it looked like a fairly decent crowd to me.  The Fieldhouse has a much larger capacity than the Al.

reinko

In fairness to our comrades top the west, the Field house, does hold almost 3x what the Al does...but there enrollement is 3x what MU's is...so frack 'em :p

MUBasketball

From the official Badger website, they only got about 2,600 for their hoops event today. I would guess they were expecting a lot more than that, but maybe not? They probably would have been better off having an event like last night like everybody else. Of course, that's too much glitz and glamor (and fun) for Bo.

They couldn't get the Kohl Center last night because they had hockey.  My guess is that they felt that a pre-football game event would be best.

How will non football schools ever survive....Marquette, Memphis, Gonzaga, Duke, St. John's, Villanova, etc, etc   ;)  (yes, I know Duke and Memphis have football at the FCS level, but you know what I mean)

Yes, nice atmosphere (which is almost NEVER the case at the Kohl Center with all the bluehairs in there)...I'm just glad it assures us that no Big Ten team will be in the BCS title game to get destroyed on national tv again.  Go Boise State or TCU or Utah.

Just got back from the game in Madison.  Great atmosphere.  Congrats Bucky.

An interesting side note.
At about 5:40 as I was walking down Regent St toward the stadium, there was a 6'10" guy staggering, by himself down the sidewalk in front of me.  He gave another another fellow drunk a high five and a hug almost knocking both of them over.  As I passed, I looked to see if I recognized him.

It was none other than ***** *****.  Now I've seen MU players in bars before, but I've never witnessed a big time college athlete that hammered in public before.    ::)

Be careful about spreading rumors - Nankovil is not a big time college athlete

My uncle had to be Jarrett Bush's de facto drunken driver last year....

The thursday before the Cardinals playoff game.

Did you mean FBS level? Because Duke's in the ACC and Memphis is in CUSA for football.
