Fixed.

The Jetta SEL, not the TDI, is atop the Jetta lineup.

I urge you to check your facts before you "fix" another person's post.

Just to be clear, you are still advocating that Wes Matthews should buy a Jetta instead of the Audi, correct?

LON

This thread is, well, just completely useless.

I bet we'd have posters advocating that Wes eat only Pop-Tarts for breakfast if he came out and endorsed Toaster Strudels.

If the Audi breaks down, we'll surely see the board spammed with "I told you so" threads.

We should get Wes to hang around for a couple more weeks so he can pick up recruits at the airport when they make their official visits.

That's debatable.  If you go by which car is 'last' on the list - the TDI is always after the SEL.  Also, the Jetta GLI used to be the 'top' Jetta - that has been replaced by the TDI Cup Edition.

So actually, it's not really debatable at all.

The TDI is not part of the S, SE, SEL line up.  You can get a TDI with all the SEL features.  It means that you have diesel car that gets 40+ mpg and runs quieter than most standard engines.

I urge you to double check your facts before telling someone they are wrong to "fix" you.

I'm sure wesley is really concerned about gas milage.

RawdogDX

We should all be concerned about our children and grand children breathing smog, until money makes you asthma and cancer proof.

Same here.  East siiiiiiiiide

WellsstreetWanderer

He is smart enough to buy the hottest car out there right now. He and I can both enjoy blowing the doors off Jettas and letting them eat the exhaust of our smog emitting rides. ( although I don't drive an audi r8- I would if I could)

SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -

Wes Matthews has come out with a public apology for recently purchasing an Audi sportscar, stating he has "let down his fans at MuScoop" who had come to know him as a "smart and grounded" individual. He stated he has traded in the luxury car for a used 1997 Kia Sephia, which he says better represents him as a person. He has also stated that he will be downgrading from his downtown luxury condo to a 400 sq ft. Salt Lake City studio apartment which rents for $550 a month. Although it lacks central air, he is undecided about purchasing a window unit, so as not to offend his fans who admire his humble character traits.

He must be the 1st NBA player in history to live in Salt Lake City, and not play for the Jazz.   ;D

Given the ownership of a position in the 5 least reliable cars in the US market why would anyone buy a VW.
