Marquette Gurls -another misleading song about MU-
« on: July 22, 2010, 12:06:05 PM »
Look what you can do with iMovie and the I Am T-Pain iphone ap
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N7fkzvNJ5ds

I find the lyrics misleading. There are 7 hot girls at Marquette per class on average. and after all that 'sippin on miller brew" well they're all undeniably chubsters.

Whenever it concerns the Women at Marquette, I expect nothing but the best coming from MUScoop and especially from Ari Gold.

I think the girls change with the weather. When the cold is gone the girls start to look better and they arent covered by 5 layers

Glad I can lead the way. I fully intend to keep up the quality work I'm doing on the subject

The original Marquette Gurls at the top of the thread was done by my former law partner's son, currently a soph. at MU.  Good Stuff.  As for Marquette girls, back when I was there in the early 80's (with the exception of my wife of course) a good looking girl at Marquette was called a "visitor".
HILLTOP SENIOR SURVEY from 1984 Yearbook:
Favorite Drinking Establishment:

1. The Avalanche.              7. Major Goolsby's.
2. The Gym.                      8. Park Avenue.
3. The Ardmore.                 9. Mugrack.
4. O'Donohues.                 10. Lighthouse.
5. O'Pagets.
6. Hagerty's.

Why did Marquette men drink so much?    Marquette women.
Luke 6:45   ...A good man produces goodness from the good in his heart; an evil man produces evil out of his store of evil.   Each man speaks from his heart's abundance...

It is better to be fearless and cheerful than cheerless and fearful.

more like "embarassing our alumni with your obscene toolishness and douchebaggery one annoying video at a time.

Just admit that the only reason you do this self serving crap is to get a pat on the head from Father Wild and maybe... just maybe getting retweeted by Marquette.

Nah, you could always tell when you were back on campus after a day at the beach.

How is there anything wrong with this song at all? How does this embarrass the alumni?

Don't care much for the song, but the concept...

I think the girls have gotten better.

Or that's what the MU and the Athletic Department tends to purport in their brochures, magazines, website pics...
But if it's true, I credit TC and his Final Four run.

I think this song was a good idea cuz the whole female student body is complimented. How could this kid go wrong doing that?

You're right.

Until someone actually uses the song in another video showing the "not so savory" Marquette girls. lol!

On it. Once the weather gets good, I'll take a half day and go hang out at the beach again and go whaling.

Random thoughts...

- Maybe I'm just no fun, but there are few things I enjoy less than parody songs.

- The fact that people are actually naming the hot chicks in their class doesn't bode well for the attractiveness of the ladies in their class.

- T-M-S-U-B seems like a lot of letters to spit out when a monosyllabic word also containing 5 letters would suffice.

- Guys who complain about girls being unattractive and/or stuck-up are typically guys who get no chicks regardless of the "talent pool" around them.
