I'm with you there about age.  He can fall off fast.

but even so without him being able to drive,

Best Player + top 5 young pg + top 10 young center + good supporting cast.
With him they add: 3 point threat (bulls biggest lack) + Veteran Champion Leadership.  And all he has to do is stay deep and fire off threes and save his legs for postseason + he worked for the coach.  

I think he'll go for a reasonable market price.  And it would leave the team without any holes except for the possibility Thibodeau is a complete bust.  If they can afford him for 2 years that would be perfect.  He might try for three.
