although the facts have to come out yet...these situations-football player meets girl(s),  mix in a little alcohol and whatever, a little i'll show you mine if you show me yours, some camera phones, 2 babes(one to distract you, the other to rifle your wallet and take pictures) etc etc and you're out of a job, divorced, sitting in the huscow, blah blah.

don't these guys carry around consent forms in triplicate-blood test kits, fbi background checks, finger prints, eye scans... ??
players did make comments that underwoods maturation process has been slightly remiss, so since he hasn't risen to the talent level of big ben...yet, consider his locker cleaned out.  nothing like making an example out of a 6th or 7th rounder.  maybe this will be the kick n the arse he needs to turn things around???

Or maybe he's just guilty.  Neither of us know the truth.

Anyone that has seen Underwood play knows he isn't strong enough to rape one and restrain the other...as much as I am against "blaming the victim(s)" I have a hard time believing the women didn't want to "party" with some Packers, or did they go up there to donate/watch the charity golf event (as they are from Milwaukee)...did they meet at a bar or a strip club?  I thought I read it was a strip club but JSonline article linked in the thread says a bar

edit: spelling

So...while you are against blaming the victims, you are going to anyway?

from all I have read I'm making an exception in this case...why would 6 other players be released without fault while they were in a cabin with a dual-raping going on?

Blackhat

strippers from Milwaukee would have a lot to gain, get themselves off the pole.  Nothing against strippers but they aren't known for their upstanding morals.  Not out of the realm of possibility that they are making it up for $$$$ (look at Duke Lacrosse case) and not out of realm that Underwood assaulted them (Lawrence Phillips, etc.).

Put NFL players and strippers together and they aren't going to be going to church together...

ZiggysFryBoy

Most strippers I've talked to are just hard working single moms just trying to put themselves through school.

You do realize that sexual assault can mean a bunch of things right?  He could have simply hauled out his wang in front of them and that's a crime.

That isn't sexual assault... I'm pretty sure that WI uses the CSC which requires touching... like most states.

Ah yes...you are correct.

regardless, if he honked a boob over the clothes, that is sexual assault... but I get what you are saying, most people assume that 'sexual assault' = rape.  Which it doesn't.

oh, and I heard on the radio that the women retracted their allegations.

I referred to specifically in this case, where Underwood admitted consensual contact...if it wasn't consensual = rape?  Right?  Even if it was with a wooden spoon or his dong...or am I oversimplifying?

groping over or under the clothes isn't rape, by definition.  Rape requires penetration.

typically and generally speaking...

CSC 1 = groping over clothes
CSC 2 = penetration over clothes (yeah figure that one out)
CSC 3 = groping under clothes
CSC 4 = penetration under clothes (typically called rape)

feel free to correct me, my crim law class was '06 and it was in MI, where the CSC was first developed, so I could be wrong.

These women have changed their stories several times, and the police are getting skeptical.

Not surprising.

EDIT:  Underwood is still an idiot...can't be foolish enough to put yourself in a situation like he did.

Agree.  31 and 33 year old bar skanks out at 4 am?  Sounds like six of the players knew better than to come within 10 feet of them, but the 23 year old Underwood wasn't that bright.  He did go to Cincinnatti after all  ;)
