Some of you may be diggin' "Fire and Rain," "You've Got A Friend," or "Shower The People". But, for me, this time of year always reminds me my James Taylor favorite, "The First of May."

So, feel free to sing along or if the spirit moves you or it's warm enough in your part of the world and you have a willing partner, participate in the lyrics:

Hooray, hooray, the first of May. Outdoor fooking starts today.

I thought you were more of an Earth Wind and Fire kinda guy?  Or was it Christopher Cross?  I can't remember.

Didn't you once tell me Debbie Boone was hot?

Quite ironic that the "First of May" has something to do with a favorite Taylor song of mine - one that is apropos to the times - "Mexico."

I would choose silence over James Taylor.
Luke 6:45   ...A good man produces goodness from the good in his heart; an evil man produces evil out of his store of evil.   Each man speaks from his heart's abundance...

It is better to be fearless and cheerful than cheerless and fearful.
