Name that Badger

Frontier Airlines has a contest to name the newest member of their fleet, the Badger.  The name can be anything but Bucky.

Normally I would suggest that we get a group to vote and call it "Sucky" or "Stinky," but I don't think the PR machine at Frontier would allow those votes to stick (kinda like MU with the Warrior).

How about a group from this board all vote on calling it something affilitated with MU or something terribly silly yet acceptable?  Thoughts and suggestions?  Maybe a femine / female name - Sally?

Ok guys, I like the Vander idea to upset our elitist UW friends; however we don't want to upset Vander (although he may find it funny.)

Yea I was mostly joking, and it could make Vander kind of uncomfortable. We could name it Buzz. Heck the Frontier people might think Buzz the Badger sounds cute and have no idea where it came from. Although, a very feminine name would be pretty funny too.

Just so you are all clear on the "contest", they are taking suggestions until May 24th, not votes.  From the suggestions, they will propose their 3 favorites and submit them to a public vote some time after May 24th.  So, let's keep throwing them as many anti-Badger names at them now as we can.  Then when it comes to the final 3, we should organize and take over the vote.

Vander would be my top choice, with Blue running a close 2nd.   If we could get either of those names voted in it would go a long way in erasing the whole Marquette Gold fiasco.   

(And, if Vander has any sense of humor at all, I am sure he would find the humor in it.)

Betty the Badger has a nice enough feminine ring to it. Only it might be close enough to Bucky to make it seem like a Mickey and Minnie Mouse combo and I'm sure Badger fans would eat that up.
