Happy anniversary.  Just a couple of years before I started at MU but happy anniversary to all of you that lived it.  (Wiki indicates 28 Mar but saw 27Mar elsewhere)

Spaniel with a Short Tail

Still recall the stinging in my eyes when someone poured a can of Fosters over my head out on the street by Angelo's.   :)  And JT, if you're reading, throwing your beer at the 7th floor McCormick TV screen when NC when into its four corners!

I remember it today like it was yesterday. Brings a tear to my eye. I was there at the Omni for the FF as well as the preceding 3 Tournament games. Nothing can top it when your team wins.

I was a senior and we watched the game in a suite at the Ramada on Michigan.  Afterwords we walked to the lake on Wisconsin Ave.
In heaven Marquette always beats Wisconsin

Watched it in Fla. a few years after leaving Milwaukee. Al wasn't the only one crying.

It was a wonderful day!  A couple of friends and I were at a double bubble hour (lol) at I think a steak and ale or some pub in Milwaukee (can't remember the name). It was Sunday night before the championship game.  We decided to head to Atlanta straight from the bar; it was about midnight.  No flights from Milwaukee.  So we drove to Chicago, got a flight at like 2am or something (we just made it), and before we knew it, we were airborn.  We landed, still a bit dazed, wakled about the Omni, had some breakfast, didn't have any  money with use other than a few buck, flew back to Chicago, then drove to Milwaukee and watched the game on TV!  LOL

What a year!  Let's do it again!  GO MARQUETTE!!
