The refs are calling it tight.  We have to adjust.  This isn't a Big East conference game... you cannot foul on every possession.

They are really talented, ranked 10th or 11th at the start of the year. When they are hitting threes to go with the ability to get up/down the floor, they can be a beast to stop.

No doubt this pace favors Washington. That said, quite a few of our points came by pushing the ball before they got fully set up on defense.

Buzz and the players need to walk a delicate balance on offense. Don't let the game pace get to fast, but at the same time we need to match points and take advantage of their obviously poor transition defense.

Either Buzz finds a way to slow the tempo or they might as well start the charter's engines right now. MU doesn't win with the game in the 80's. Maybe we could suit up Pope for the second half and have him pop Thomas in the jewels.
