Might as well put the Johnnies logo up on the board now.   >:(

Yeah, but is Buzz wearing his matching jacket (preferably with some snazzy plaid pants).

APieperFan3

i wish we wore the dark Navy uniforms every single game!!!...not a fan of the baby blues...

however, like most of you, im a fan of a W more than anything!!

WE ARE MARQUETTE!!
The "average fan" is an idiot.

wojosdojo

Never won a BE game in these. Hopefully we break that streak tonight.

Shanunu

I think that we are going to wear these uniforms in the Louisville game at home as well. The spirit shop has a sign up saying that they are giving away light blue t's to all the students, and it hints about the team wearing them on the court. Would that be the first time we wear them at home?

warriors1991

99% sure we've worn them at home before. Pretty sure we wore them once against an early season cupcake so it's not like we've never won in them.

I do love the baby blues, they look great. And once we start winning in them regularly I'd love to see them more often.

NumenFlumenque

They wore them against Florida Gulf Coast (at home) two years ago.

Ari Gold

side question: How many other teams have 4 unis? Seems more than most. We don't wear the Powder blues that much (cursed?) but I like the navy ones most.

I almost wonder if he is as a tribute to Al Mcguire type of thing. Maybe I'm just looking for any kind of connection because I don't know what other reason there is for this, but I wonder if it is to honor Al.

Did we win any games in the Old Spice Classic with the light blues? The only other game I can think of was at West Virginia, maybe at Nova too.

warriors1991

I was at all 3 Old Spice games in Florida and nope, we didn't wear the powder blues there. Two dark blue games, one gold.

TallTitan34

So I suppose we would have won in regulation with out the baby blues?

Oregon has 80 possible football uniform combinations and I think at least four basketball unis.
I guess that's what happens when Phil Knight is an alum.

Baby Blues + Buzz's shaved head + Jimmy & Lazar with long hair = VICTORY

So, do we wear the baby blues at Seton Hall for superstition purposes?
