NOTE: I spoke to D.J. Newbill earlier tonight, and will be posting an update with regard to his commitment tomorrow at some point.

One quick highlight is he told me also had a scholarship offer on the table from West Virginia, and that Villanova hadn't recruited him, presumably because it felt it had enough depth in the backcourt at this point.

"I just thought that Marquette would be the better place for me," he said with regard to West Virginia.
