I'm getting a little tired of the big heads, especially when you see them everywhere else.

My suggestion is that we supply about 100 big heads of Al McGuire for Al's Night.  That would look cool.

We could also get 100 big heads of the seniors for senior night.  More themed approach to big heads instead of random b-level stars.  Betty White?  Mini Me?  Stewie?  Not needed.

They have to give the BC workers there their student ID's until they give the big heads back to those workers. There's really no benefit for the students to getting them, and if we could keep them then more students would have them and it would be much better.

the reason kids will not ever get to keep them is simple... cost.  have you ever blown a picture up that large before?  my buddy and i used to have jumbo heads of ourselves for the games and they are very expensive to have good quality color pictures.  If they let the kids keep them everytime, it would thousands of dollars a year since the students would be about 10% likely to bring them back the next game.  let the kids have fun with them.  keep sitting on your hands instead.

I'm also sick and tired of that guy jumping up and down. I'm truly embarrassed for the other guy in his row that moves next to him just for that segment so he can get on the big screen, then moves back to his seat when it's over. Painful.

I wouldn't bet on the big heads going anywhere since they are sponsered by Job Noggin.  If they bring in a little extra advertising revenue what do they really hurt?

Gimp One is right, they have to take ID's otherwise they'd all be stolen.  When they create the big heads they use a color plotter at the union to print the head on a giant sticker.  They then apply the sticker to a plastic like poster board then use a jig saw to cut it out.  It takes a good amount of time to create a big head.

I just know the unveiling of the Betty White head last night is what kept Rutgers from mounting a comeback.  They were gaining steam.....Betty White comes out....Marquette catches it's breath knowing the power of the big head and steamrolls Rutgers.   There can be no other explanation.   Certainly no less embarrassing explanation than having busted out a Betty White big head at a basketball game.

I thought they were cool originally.  When Job Noggin came on, they got smaller and not as cool, when we first started doing them, if I recall, they were ALOT bigger.

RA Smith jumping is far from tired.  Its hilarious, and more importantly, the students and most of the crowd love it. He clearly loves Marquette basketball and has fun doing it.  Im sure he doesnt care that you'd rather he wear a gold vest and sit on his hands like many of the other season ticket holders over there.

I like the big heads when there are more than 5 in the crowd. I think they would be cooler if they more widely distributed, but the real problem that detracts from them (and the whole student section) is the tunnel that goes right through the middle.

The heads are and always have been stupid.  I don't have "get off my lawn" disease.  I'm not even sure I am old enough to have it.  I just know when something is stupid when I see it.

I suppose I have "get off my lawn" disease if I say Jersey Shore is stupid and always has been.  I could see that from a mile away.

oh, and Betty White is head and shoulders above any other geriatric comedienne.
