Rushing the Court

I have absolutely no problem with DePaul fans rushing the court Wednesday night.  Nearly 2 calender years of no conference wins makes any win an acceptable time to do it.

Like I mentioned in another thread, I was among the students that rushed the court after beating South Florida in an NIT game so I don't think I can claim any kind of moral superiority here. 

Kids are kids.  As long as its safe and no one is hassling the opposing players and there's no repeat of the UW/Michigan football game from '93 I don't see any problem.

I was referring to Abe's habit of claiming to be a MU fan when he was not.  I don't think you are a MU hater, but you seem to have more love for
TC and II, II than MU.

Well you're being ridiculous.  5000+ posts here vs about 100 on the IU boards should be a starter.  My office looks like a Marquette dorm room with all the MU stuff in it and nothing from IU or KU for that matter.  It's basically MU and Angels stuff along with family photos.





I like IU, but I like KU better, and MU trumps them all easily.  No comments on the Golden Eagle bobble head....kids gave it to me.    The Tom Crean bobblehead for MU was thrown in the trash after decaputation. 




Has anyone seen Hayward...is the man alive?  Have we checked the hospitals yet?

Oh, for crying out loud, who cares? If a bunch of drunk college kids want to rush the court, let them. Who is to stay when it is "historic" enough to rush the court or not? We all know some of these incidents don't really seem historic or noteworthy in any way beyond the immediate moment, but at the end of the day let the kids have fun.
