Worst loss of all-time. Seriously.

BIGGEST win for DePaul EVER.

This is the worst loss I have ever seen by an MU team to a disaster of a team

This team has no balls. Nice guys all around... just no guys that know how to win.

Warrior of Law

At least we'll get a home game...in the NIT.

Worst loss ever.  Absolutely an embarrassment.  I love Buzz, but playing Acker and Cubillian together has got to stop.

KipsBayEagle

We lost for one reason, missed free throws AGAIN

GuyIncognito

At least we will finally be on sportscenter in the morning...

sailwi

On to next year.  I had an outside hope we might have a chance for a bid but this is a BAD loss, game, set, match.  Unexplainable.

Deserve to lose

+10000

Played way to lax from the get go.

AlienWarrior

This was a trap game and we fell for it. Now, a major road win will be necessary.

Acker and Cubillan played almost all their minutes together.
By the way, that was Acker's man that made the last two baskets for DePaul.
Depaul lost 24 conference games in a row--BUT WHUPPED OUR ASS!
UNACCEPTABLE!!!!!!!!!
Agree that Buzz has no clue in close games.
And why does he play the two smallest guys on the team at the same time?
NIT here we come.

Teams that are 11th, 12th in a conference have no business having trap games. Stop using that term.

Rebuilding team of overachievers.  I'd be surprised if many of you didn't see this as a potential outcome at all.  I mean come on, we can't finish down the stretch, and we are a young, small and inexperienced team.  Sucks to lose to these games, but things happen.

redbirdwarrior

There is NOTHING that can save this year after that abortion of a game.  Like everyone else, I had no confidence when Lazar stepped to the line with a four point lead.  Not because of Lazar, but because of the trend.  Even less confidence with Cubes.  Can someone get ice water in their veins or at loosen their sphincter?

Can anyone on this team finish? or climax?
Maybe Buzz should insert Frozen A at the end of games just for free throw shooting. Hell, it's worth a try.

I am beginning to wonder if it is a rebuilding year for the coaching staff as well.  You can blame the close losses on missed free throws or lucky shots by the other team, but at some point, you have to question the coaching.

In all seriousness, I do wonder whether Buzz can coach in the pinch.  Bad luck can only explain so much.  Every play after a timeout seems to end in a turnover or wild shot.  Not sure what to make of it?

The shots they hit were prayers, and Acker almost knocked the ball away right before that. No one came through--Butler missed layups, Hayward got no looks, DJO was off tonight, Buycks turned it over, we didn't get key rebounds, FREE THROWS. One of those nights, but it sure would have been nice to sneak away with a win.
