Hey Vikings, I like what you've done with the basement.

"Lazar Hayward. The L stands for leader, and the W stands for winner, Lazar Hayward is a winner."

MUFan11

Thats a crazy amount of rebounds for a guard

4everwarriors

Bingo! Our prayers have been answered. Screw the notion that basketball is a big man's game. Guards who get 22 boards/game will take us to the promised land. Can't wait for Vander to anchor the middle for MU.

Don't worry, if he does we will be just fine for 39 minutes and only in that very last minute will the height come back to bite us...not the first 39.

Jay Bee

At 6'4", I'm sure he was the smallest guy on the court.

Still, Vander was impressed with his performance and that's good for him to play out of state and feel good about it... can't wait til he pulls of the triple double in the BEast.

Detroit Country Day

The Alma Mater of one James "MANCHILD" Matthews. Now THAT was a stellar recruiting class

tower912

Are we seriously nitpicking the difference between 20 and 22 rebounds for a recruit playing at an out of state tournament?    He had a great game and a great tourney.   He got a lot of rebounds.   Different box scores showing different huge rebounding totals are irrelevant.
Luke 6:45   ...A good man produces goodness from the good in his heart; an evil man produces evil out of his store of evil.   Each man speaks from his heart's abundance...

It is better to be fearless and cheerful than cheerless and fearful.

I believe James Matthews went to Denby HS, not Country Day.

Haha, touche.

Going off memory, that class was James Matthews, Brandon Bell, Dameon Mason, and Carlton Christian. Is that right? What a disaster. Not one guy made it through.

mileskishnish72

Who's Creamer? He had 22!

JWags85

Those rebounding skills will be great when Buzz forces him to play the 5. LOLZ!

Has anyone seen Vander play enough to get a sense of whether he has a good enough handle on the ball to play point guard?

I'm sure he can play some 1 to spell JC when needed, but I'm sure Vander is going to play a lot at the 2 or 3 when he arrives.

Murffieus

IMO Creamer is as good a Div 1 prospect as Blue-----Blue hasn't improved noticably since last year-----in fact he hasn't come close to duplicating the 34 point performance in last year's State Tournamnet Quarterfinals, which put him on the map.

Tre Creamer will have as good a college career as Blue according to the scout Murffieuss.

We'll see if your prediction comes true!!   I'll remember your analysis, Murf, should be interesting.

I guess if you only judge a player by the number of points he scores he hasn't...but 22/22???
