Vander Blue at the Al today
« on: December 19, 2009, 09:27:55 AM »
Is anyone here going to check out the Madison Memorial game at the Al today.  If so, I'm sure many here would be interested in your feedback on Vander's performance today.  Further I hope the MU fans make him feel overly welcome in his future home.

He looked confident but not very into the game.  It was clear he wanted the ball in his hands.  Despite pretty tough D on him and double teams he managed to get into the lane a couple times with some nice moves and had some nice passes too.  He hit a few threes.  He has kind of an odd form, but it went in.  Not a bad showing; I'm glad I got to see him.

I saw Buzz, Cooby, and Maymon at the game.

I heard he was wearing Carolina Blue after his game.  What's up with that?

That's odd.  I'm guessing he's just watching his old team and vander but any chance he is realizing his father is a dumbass?

Not crazy, I was under the impression that Buzz's comments inferred that after he finished the semester (finals), he would be granted his release.

Vander had a sick dunk near the end of the game. Officials weren't giving him a single call. Apparently if you go to Rufus King its now a foul if you have your arms wrapped up in the opponents jersey. He was double teamed a lot so he was getting really frustrated. But he has great vision and can pass the ball well, even if his teammates weren't that good. I think his expectations of his teammates made him frustrated too but he still played very well.
