I thought I'd help Tim out:

That's about what Tim Maymon's eyes looked like when he said this.  But he was wearing the Nintendo jacket.

CF already has 16 players on the roster.  Not one of them even a senior.  How many scholarships do they get down there?

At least he isn't speaking in Haiku or limericks. That would be moronic.

no.. if tim were speaking in limericks it would look like this:
ɹooq ǝʃqıpǝɹɔuı ǝɥʇ uoɯʎɐɯ ɯıʇ
ʃooɟ ǝʃqıssodɯı uɐ
ʃooɹp sıɥ ǝɔıʇou
ǝɹoɯ ʎʃqɐqoɹd ʇnq ǝɔuo ʇsnɾ ʇou
ɹnoɟ ʃɐuıɟ ǝɥʇ oʇ dıɹʇ ɐ

tim's employment seems a bit stealth
could it be he has independent wealth
when jmay goes away
in madison tim will stay
until his bank account has better health

Oh are we still doing these? Its been 3 days... Can we start having normal discussions instead of this annoying cryptic haiku sh*t?

As a fellow Madison native, I was hoping Jeronne would have a great career here like Wesley, but unfortunately it appears as though that will not be the case. I wish him the best, but I also hope that Tim lets his son live his life. I know this has been said repeatedly on this board, but he really needs to let Jeronne figure things out for himself. Maybe I'm being Naive, but I like to believe J-May, in his heart, really wanted to be here and learn from Buzz. I could be, however, and probably am, wrong, which sucks. That said, wherever J-may goes, this MU fan and mad-town native will be rooting for him, and at the same time hoping Tim is minding his own business and letting Jeronne live his own life!

"Right now, it's like he's up for recruitment," he said. "All I can say is ever since Buzz made the announcement Monday night, my phone has been ringing off the hook." - Tim Maymon

...great to be the one everyone wants to pay attention to again, isn't it, Timmy?

The great Tim Maymon makes it seem as if this was Buzz's announcement.  Maybe I read it wrong Mr. Marinovich, but I think this was YOUR announcement....

I love how Tim said Monday that he knew nothing about this...what a pain in the ass dad. He must have 24/7 beer goggles on for his sons skills. Take him wherever you want he is not going to be a pro or make a team go to the finals. After seeing him play I am starting to really think that Vander is the reason Madison was so good.

NavinRJohnson

Wow is that sad. Central Florida, where Michael Jordan's son plays...kinda says it all as to where this guys puts his priorities. I'm assuming as soon as he gets the call from Isaiah Thomas, Florida International will be a done deal...He played in the NBA, you know.

Maymon will have the option of tranferring to a place close to home where he'll get a lot of touches and can be on the perimeter.

This is one of the funniest threads ever. I prepared myself to read the next two posts upside down and in poetic form.

I really can't believe how big of a jack a$$ Tim Maymon has become. The first 10 games must have been really hard on him since he didn't get quoted in the paper. Running up and down the sidelines is tame compared to yanking your kid out of school because he is playing out of position for one year.

God bless you JMay!

I fixed it for you.   ;)

Actually, I could understand pulling your kid out after a full year if you really believed he was being misused.  I doubt I'd do it, but that would be difficult to watch as a parent (and there would be many, many other factors to consider).  But pulling him out nine games into the season -- that's just insanity rearing its ugly head.

I really wish this kid well -- seems like a difficult situation for him.

Problem is that he is not a kid. He is supposed to be a man. In Iraq and Afghanistan our nation has thousands of 18-24 year olds behaving and performing as men. While Tim Maymon  may be an overbearing ass Maymon need to grow a pair and act like a man.

Really a sad situation. Still haven't seen a quote from Jeronne. Let the kid speak for himself, he's certainly old enough. It really is a shame Tim is screwing things up for him.
i am not sure if Buzz has heard j-may speak for himself this whole time.  I believe that the son wanted to stay at MU.  He really liked it here!  How screwed up is this?

I agree in some respects and disagree in some respects.  I think he is a kid, but I agree that it is time to grow a pair and act like a man.

I also think many of those soldiers out there protecting and fighting for our country are kids -- but, as you said, they are behaving and performing as men.  Thank God for that.  God bless them and protect them always, but especially now.

That's just the thing, it's not like J-May was incapable of talking for himself, making his decision, etc... he just hasn't spoken up to make anyone think that this was his idea. It's a shame really.

Don't hold your breath waiting.  This seems like Tim does all the talking. We've heard of JM uttering just three words this whole time. "I'm not happy." Other than that, he's said nothing, I'm guessing because TM told his boy he'd do all the talking for the both of them.

Tim Maymon has a facebook.  Just got accepted.  Will keep you updated.
